October is The Big Draw month, where they aim to promote visual arts by giving yearly themes and asking people to create drawings based on these. This year’s theme is ‘Change Makers’ and about this, they say they want to ‘support all those positive change-makers, those seeking to affect change- those advocating for kindness to our natural world, and kindness to each other. We hope this theme will draw attention to the pioneers and innovators adopting new more sustainable materials and accessible working practices alongside a better way of living together, from our city streets to the irreplaceable countryside.’.
So, in spirit of this, we’d like to implore our pupils to get drawing based on this theme and send over their drawings. Even if not related to the prompt – maybe this can be a good source of motivation to get creative.
