As you may have seen on our social media sites, The Wensleydale School recently received a ‘Good’ grading succeeding its recent Ofsted inspection. We’re thrilled with this result and wanted to share a more in-depth look into what the inspectors had to say about the school we’re so proud of – starting with our extracurricular activities.
We’ve worked tirelessly to create a diverse, fun and enriching extracurricular programme, which includes the CCF, a walking club, a Japanese puzzle club and the school newspaper. Ofsted noted that ‘the curriculum pupils follow extends well beyond the academic’ and that ‘pupils have opportunities to develop into responsible, caring and well-rounded adults’.
In the new term, we’ll be provided even more great clubs and societies, including chess, climbing and model making. We can’t wait!
