As part of the Swaledale Festival, this week we welcomed London-based Trombone Quartet Bone-afide to the school. They delivered a great workshop to our Y7 students, GCSE Music students and Leyburn Primary School Y4 students.
Mr Hadfield, our Music Teacher said “Bone-afide were fantastic. It was wonderful to see our students engaging with the performance and gaining knowledge of instruments that some of them had never seen or heard live before. Our students reported that they really enjoyed the workshop and it was great to experience a live performance. We are really grateful to Swaledale Festival for providing this opportunity to us and to Bone-afide for delivering a great workshop.”
