This week has been phenomenal for our school. Not only did our KS 3 team of Zoe Bell, Maddie Hey and Arthur Moss become North East winners of the PixL Up for Debate competition and are now heading to Oxford University to compete in the national finals in July, but a huge number of other achievements have been recognised in our whole school end of term assembly. The atmosphere this morning was electric as we paid tribute to athletes, musicians, actors and charity fundraisers. The theme was ‘Start your impossible’ and it hinged on what might seem impossible at first glance, is achievable given dedication, support and hard work. I have been staggered at the level of parental, staff and community support and feel the only way to truly express how proud we are of our students is to share the achievements in this blog, as one email we received said “…the talent in the school is amazing.”
As we continually say, we are a Strong Community, with Big Ambitions.
I think this proves a point.
Happy Easter.
