First students receive LORIC certificates

1st February 2019

Fabulous news that following the launch of our LORIC programme in September, 3 students have been awarded the first certification. Nicholas O’Keefe, Lilian Hardill and Matilda Martin are now officially  Pixl Edge LORIC apprentices and have an employer recognised certificate , rewarding their skills. Well done and we look forward to seeing them progress even further. More students are also on the way to certification.

Emily Scott and James Ashcroft- Head Girl and Boy launched the new School council initiative this morning and are asking for student applications during next week. The new look council is aiming to be more proactive and strategic with particular focus on improving the school environment for all. We look forward to hearing more from council later this term.

Finally, up and coming band ‘The Hara’ are giving a performance next Thursday, for Year 9 upwards combined with a  discussion around health, well-being and being safe on-line  (part of Internet Safety Day/Week).  The link for the band https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mOdwDn3vUms
