Summer cobblestone challenge

16th July 2019

As we are fast approaching the summer holidays I have a challenge for students for over the 6 weeks holidays.

For our cobbled seating area  I would like as many students as possible to contribute to the project.

I would like all students to find a cobblestone over the summer holidays at the beach or riverbank or fields.

I don’t want students going into the sea or rivers to collect the stones.

They must be dry when collected. The stone should be approximately the size of the palm of their hand.

Students should write/ paint their name on the cobble and the date it was collected and the location it came from. The stones will be collected in September in the memorial garden area in preparation for our sunken seating area.

It would be lovely to get some stones  from all over the world.
