Team ‘Spider Duck’ presented their garden design to a packed audience of top horticultural judges and other competing schools yesterday in Harrogate. Jake Gerrard, Ellie Peacock, Molly Hunter, Ella Thwaite, Zara Sunter, Abi Plumpton and Lillian Hardill proudly talked through their design for our Wellbeing garden, complete with technical drawings and a model.
Although they didn’t walk away with the top prize, they were awarded ‘Students Choice winners’. As Molly explained ‘ This award means more to us because it means all the students from other school voted for our garden and liked our ideas.’.
Congratulations to them all and we look forward to seeing the model turn into a real garden in the coming months.
