Last Friday we received news that our catering provider P&A were in financial trouble and going into liquidation. Firstly, I would like to thank parents and students for the way in which you have handled this news and coped with a somewhat tricky week of school lunches. We are delighted to say after a week of negotiations and meetings we are going to have Dolce School catering in from Tuesday next week. They are a very experienced company and we look forward to working with them.
Secondly, another huge thank you to the Lower Wensleydale Business Network for supporting us during this week. We are very grateful for the hands on help from The Saddleroom earlier in the week. It just goes to show what a strong community we have behind us.
As Coronavirus continues to hit the news we are also working with NYCC, Public Health England and the Foreign office to ensure we are following all health advice. We are determined to stay open, but are obviously guided by local and National government advice. If the worst was to happen, I would like everyone to know we have made contingency plans to ensure education continues in some form or other. I have also called a meeting for parents about the upcoming Ski Trip- just so we’re all clear on our options.
