Our annual sports day was a huge success, thanks in great part to the weather that couldn’t have been better. It provided the perfect conditions for our students to showcase their athletic prowess and team spirit.
The morning kicked off with a series of field events, where we saw some impressive displays of strength, skill, and determination. Following this, we had the always-popular tug of war, pitting students against staff in a test of raw power and grit.
After lunch, it was time for the track events, with our young athletes giving it their all in sprints, relays, and distance races.
A special mention must go to our fantastic Year 10 Sports Leaders: Ellie Rabjohn, Millie Gilbey, Tom Hewson, Anna Dent, and Matthew Hall. These dedicated students played a crucial role in organising and running most of the events, demonstrating leadership skills that made us all proud.
Well done to all who participated, whether competing, organising, or cheering from the sidelines. Days like these remind us of the importance of physical activity, teamwork, and school spirit. We’re already looking forward to next year’s event!
