We are so proud of the wonderful achievements of our Year 11 students in this year’s GCSE exams. Their dedication and hard work have truly paid off, marking the fourth consecutive year of improved results.
Our Headteacher Julia Polley praised the students, saying, “Our students have put in more effort than ever this year. Their commitment to revision and study sessions has been remarkable, and we’re extremely proud of them.”
This year’s success, along with our school being oversubscribed for the upcoming academic year, highlights the growing confidence in our educational approach. However, Julia emphasised that the school remains focused on continuous improvement, striving to make Wensleydale an exceptional experience for students, parents and staff.
Despite ongoing regional disparities in educational outcomes, with London schools typically outperforming those in the North, we are committed to bridging this gap. Julia added, “We are dedicated to providing equal opportunities for all our students, ensuring they can compete on a level playing field, no matter where they are from.”
As we celebrate these results, we look forward to building on this success and continuing to offer excellent educational opportunities to all our students.
